Our roots in the community extend more than 60 years.
Community Involvement
Hancock Health has a rich history of philanthropy and community support. In fact, if it hadn’t been for the generous gift of land from Fannie Andis more than 60 years ago, Hancock Regional Hospital might not be here today. Since then, we’ve been deeply rooted in this community through support groups, United Way contributions, Backpack Attack, Day of Caring, and many more.
Community Benefit Report
Our Community Benefit Report highlights some of our charitable giving, which we believe is simply part of being a good neighbor. The report also details some of our recent accomplishments, the issues on which we are focusing, and the lives we have touched.
Community Health Needs Assessment
The best way for Hancock Health to serve our community is to understand its specific health issues. To that end, every three years we embark on a research initiative to assess the health needs of the Hancock County community and its residents. You can review the results from our 2020 community needs assessment report and implementation strategy.
Caring Community Partners (CCP)
Our values, community, and culture inspired our CCP program, which is now integrated into our hospital and more than 80 members strong. Learn more about Caring Community Partners.
