Dr. Zhang received his MD degree from Chongqing University of Medical Sciences, Ph.D. in Neuroscience from University of Connecticut Health Center, Internal Medicine Internship from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, and Neurology Residency Training from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He also received Fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology from IUPUI. He is board certified in Neurology, in Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG/Video EEG/EMG & NCV), and in Sleep Medicine.
While seeing all neurological conditions, Dr. Zhang’s specialties and special interest include EEG and video EEG in diagnosis and management of epilepsy, status epilepticus, non-convulsive seizure status, and non-epileptic spells in both hospital and office settings, Sleep Studies in diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, and EMG/NCV study in diagnosis and management of peripheral nerve and muscle diseases.
