Whole-Childhood Care

One Team for Their Whole Childhood

The pediatricians at Hancock Pediatrics provide both inpatient and outpatient services for kids from birth to eighteen years. They care for newborns in the Special Care Nursery, then continue to provide outpatient care through the Children’s department. A team of nurses with training in pediatrics support our doctors to ensure that our smallest patients receive the best care possible.

Services We Provide

Services We Provide

We treat illness, promote wellness and prevention, and support family diversity. Some of the more common conditions we treat are:

  • Fever
  • Dehydration
  • Failure to thrive
  • Infection
  • Asthma
  • Bronchiolitis
  • Pneumonia
  • Respiratory conditions
  • Cellulitis

Our Andis Children’s Center is home to compassionate care for kids.

For a child, the average hospital can seem like a pretty intimidating place. At Hancock Women + Children, our pediatric unit is a kid-friendly environment designed to put young ones at ease—while they receive the most expert, understanding care possible. On admission, children are visited by caring members of our healthcare team and are given a gift to help them feel welcome and extra special.

Family-Friendly Rooms

Comfortable, Family-Friendly Private Rooms

Should your child need hospital care, all of our inpatient rooms are private with sleep chairs, allowing parents to stay close and comfortable with their child. We offer kid-friendly menu options, rocking chairs, wagons to ride to procedures, and DVD players for watching favorite family movies. The pediatric unit is under added security for the safety of your little one—and your peace of mind.
