Workshop

Feel better, find practical ways to make daily tasks easier, and have more energy for the activities you enjoy.  “Better Choices, Better Health,” a six-week, self-management course empowers people to live well while dealing with chronic health conditions such as anxiety, arthritis, asthma, depression, diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis and more.

The interactive wellness workshop, developed by Stanford University’s School of Medicine, is open to anyone interested in developing new tools and skills to break the “symptom cycle” and find relief from pain, fatigue, and other symptoms. Caregivers and relatives are also welcome and will learn tools for better health while helping their loved ones.

All workshops are co-facilitated by two Stanford trained Lay Leaders who often manage their own chronic conditions. Attendees receive a free reference guide and light meal.
